On a recent tour to South Africa with members of the Denver Botanic Gardens, we had a wonderful lunch at Eziko Cooking School in Langa (a Cape Town township). The school offers a six month training program providing students with skills needed to obtain jobs in the hospitality industry. After graduation, the school partners with hotel restaurants and the convention center to match students with jobs. Our donation sponsored one student for the six month program and additional students for a subsequent wine education program. To read more or to sponsor a student go to www.wanderer.co.za/Wines/?p=254 and www.ezikorestaurant.com
